A Wildcat article on Feb. 19 had some misinformation about travel time to Puerto Enasco. As a homeowner in Puerto Penasco (Rocky Point) I have traveled the road often during the last year. The road between Sonoita and Puerto Penasco is still under construction and travel time between Tucson and Penasco is 41/2 hours barring construction delays.

In addition, there are few signs warning of construction crews ahead and many areas where pavement and shoulder are about 18 inches different. My family and friends try not to travel the road at dusk, dawn or after dark because it's difficult to see the spots where the pavement drops off and accidents can easily happen.
