Penn State goalie Jeff Crispino stopped 33 shots on Friday to help his team to a 4-2 victory over the Icecats and a berth in the third-place game.

Rich Matha had two assists for Penn State. Arizona goalie Joel Hilshey stopped 35 shots, but it wasn't enough, and the Icecats ended their season 23-8-1 and in fifth place in the final rankings.

Icecat senior center Kevin Oztekin was named to the second-team All-ACHA squad.

Penn State scored four, third-period goals to defeat Eastern Michigan 7-2 and finish in third place.

Ohio claimed its second consecutive ACHA title with a 5-1 victory over Iowa State on Saturday night.
