Bibby, Edgerson apologize for comments at rally

Two Arizona freshman made a public apology regarding their statements at Tuesday's welcome home rally celebration at Arizona Stadium. In particular for the statement when critics of the UA program were told to "go to hell."

Eugene Edgerson -

"I just got caught up in the moment and all the excitement of being in front of such an enthusiastic crowd. I want to apologize to all the fans and let them know I was wrong. Both Mike and myself are embarrassed about what was said and want to let everyone know we didn't mean to offend anyone. Nobody's perfect - we all make mistakes."

Mike Bibby -

"I know this is a class program and I didn't mean to do anything to hurt that image. Eugene and I want to thank all the fans for their support throughout the year and want to let everyone know we will not do anything like this ever again to disappoint them."
