'Stupid' not poor people keep psychics in business

Editor:

Andrew McClory, author of the Sept. 5 letter "Psychics are greedy and 'truly malevolent,'" is a misguided young man. First of all Andrew, would anyone take it seriously if Clinton or Dole were to say, "We, as Americans, must unite to overcome one of our nation's greatest problems - the greed of television psychics?" I honestly hope not.

Secondly, these "qualified" psychics are not charging the "poor" people who call them - they are charging the stupid people who call them. As long as these stupid people keep calling, psychics will continue to make their living and stay in business. And with the number of idiots in America, I imagine they will be in business for a long time.

Lastly, please tell me you were kidding when you said you were going to form a Free Psychic Advice party. Because the only people who will join that party are the same morons who call the Psychic Network. You scare me, boy!
