Cancer Biology Seminar presents Sam Ward, of the Molecular and Cellular Biology Department, to speak on "Cell Crawling Using an Unknown Cytoskeleton," in the Arizona Cancer Center Room 2920 at 9 a.m.

The Writing about Literature Workshop presents Kendra Gaines of the Writing Skills Improvement Program to discuss "Writing the Self-Exploratory or Reflection Essay," in Modern Languages Room 410 from 5 until 6 p.m.

Steward Observatory Public Evenings presents Peter Strittmatter to speak on "Astronomy in Arizona" in the Steward Observatory Auditorium at 7:30 p.m.

After the hour-long lecture there is a question-and-answer period. If the weather permits, those in attendance are invited to view the night sky though the telescope at Steward Observatory's campus station, aided by members of the UA Astronomy Club.

African American Studies presents Christopher McAuley, of the University of California Santa Barbara, to speak on "The Cultural Content of Revolt in the Americas," in the Martin Luther King, Jr. Student Center Room 100 from noon until 1 p.m.

Theoretical Astrophysics Luncheon seminar presents Willy Benz to speak on "Neutron Star Kicks," at Steward Observatory, Room N305 at noon.

The Memorial Student Union's Gallagher Theatre is showing "The English Patient" at 7:30 p.m. Admission is $2.50.

The Education building was constructed in 1964 at a cost of $1,088,096.
