Roberts' column misrepresents the ethical teachings of religious groups

Editor:

I am writing in response to Kristen Roberts once again saying something absolutely stupid. Her statement that "Consequently, Jewish and Muslim, and Protestant and Catholic children are taught to hate each other" is beyond ridiculous. Perhaps in those areas of the world where there is conflict, there might be this kind of an education; however, I am Jewish and I was taught never to hate anyone and to give everyone an equal chance regardless of their color, race, religion, or any other factor. Making a blanket statement like that only serves to support my belief that you don't think before you speak, or in this case, write. And I think I am speaking for a majority of the people who read the Wildcat when I say good riddance to your poorly researched, extremely OUT of balance column (please excuse my assumption that most people will agree with me. If you do not, I apologize). I know that I certainly won't miss you!
