- Open Microphone Poetry Readings will be held in The Cellar of the Memorial Student Union at 8 p.m. Admission is free.
- Gallagher Theatre presents The Craft at 7:30 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. Admission is $2.50.
- The Center for Computing and Information Technology is offering a free workshop on how to use SABIO, the UA's library information system, including the library's on-line catalog. The two-hour workshop will include information on a variety of databases offered through the library.
- The Business and Professional Women are presenting Ted Risch of Southwest Training, who is speaking on the art of negotiation. The presentation is being held in the Tucson Room of the Memorial Student Union at noon. Admission is $2 for non-BPW members.
- The American Red Cross is having a blood drive at the University Medical Center from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
- The Greeks Advocating Mature Management of Alcohol hold their weekly meeting at 5:30 p.m. in the Economics building Room 105. GAMMA is an organization set up by the Greek system to monitor parties sponsored by fraternities and sororities.
- The American Marketing Association presents Dale Nunn of Merrill Lynch speaking about what to expect from businesses after graduation, including interviewing techniques and what companies would expect from employees. The speech, which is free and open to all majors, begins at 6:30 p.m. in the Harvill Building, Room 204.
