The Arizona men's and women's swimming and diving teams were victorious over the Northern Arizona Lumberjacks at Hillenbrand Aquatic Center on Saturday.

After a solid performance at the Texas Invitational, the third-ranked women's team and 13th-ranked men's team used the Lumberjacks as preparation for upcoming meets against California and Stanford, both ranked teams. The men won 158-88 while the women won 140-92.

"Today's meet was a great tune-up for Cal and Stanford next weekend," Arizona head coach Frank Busch said. "Friday's and Saturday's meets will be great gauges for us at this point in the season."

The defending NCAA champion women's 200-meter freestyle relay team of Shannon Hosack, Casey Legler, Liesl Kolbisen and Ashley Tappin won the event in 1:36.19.

Freshman diver Adrian David won the one-meter competition with 286.05 points and took second on the three-meter with 271.42 points.

The men's team was lead by the performances of freshmen divers Kevin Francis and Daniel Zimmerman. Francis and Zimmerman finished first and second, respectively, on the one-meter and three-meter springboards. Oscar LaFleur won the 100m butterfly in 52.52 and Chris Counts finished first in the 100m backstroke with a time of 53.60.
