A man was arrested Friday after university police found there was a warrant for his arrest.

An employee at the Arizona State Museum told police a man identified as "John Damian" came in and told her he wanted to meet with her and another employee to discuss settling the estate of his twin brother, who had died two years ago.

According to police reports, the employee told police she recognized the man's voice as that of John P. Molloy, 60, of a general delivery address. She told police the museum employees know Molloy because he graduated from the University of Arizona.

The employee wanted police present at the meeting to preserve the peace, police reports stated.

Police conducted a records check on Molloy, which produced a warrant for failure to appear in court, police reports stated.

After the meeting, the two employees confirmed that the man was Molloy. One employee identified Molloy by his "lazy eye," police reports stated.

According to reports, police confronted Molloy outside the museum. Police told Molloy there was a warrant for his arrest and they had information that the warrant was for him.
