Today on Campus

  • Check out a wide range of new and almost new items for sale, including plants, books, appliances, clothing, furniture, jewelry and gift certificates at The 17th Annual Docent Council White Elephant Sale today. Head over to the Arizona Historical Society, located at 949 E. Second St., between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. The sale proceeds will benefit educational programs. Sale continues tomorrow, same time, same place.

  • Don't miss Latin Literature this afternoon from 1 to 2:45 in Rooms 282, 283 and 284 of the Memorial Student Union. At this time, local authors Patricia Preciado Martin and Aristeo Brito will lead a discussion group and Arizona State University Professor David William Foster will give the keynote address on "Identidades homoeroticas y produccion cultural en America Latina."

  • Discuss the "Current Concepts: Status Epilepticus" with Daniel H. Lowenstein of the University of California at San Francisco. The lesson begins at 8 this morning in Room 5403 of the Arizona Health Sciences Center.

  • Pamela Goldsmith performs the viola at 7:30 tonight in Crowder Hall of the Fine Arts Complex. This Guest Recital is sponsored by the School of Music and Dance.
