Shamrock Contracting employee Shiloh Jorgensen (right) begins to put the maple planks into place for the new floor at McKale Center yesterday. The wood for the floor cost $250,000. The project is scheduled to be complete before May's commencement ceremonies. Commemorative items are being made from the planks of the old McKale floor.
