  • What was Tucson like before the University of Arizona was established? "A Quickie History of Early Tucson" will focus on Tucson history from the Spanish presidio day through the territorial period.   • If you're out on the highway and looking for adventure, then the "High Mileage Vehicle Program" is coming your way. James H. Kelley of J.P.L., California Institute of Technology in Pasadena, Calif., will present this seminar at 4 p.m. in the auditorium of the Aerospace and Mechanical Engineering building, Room S202..

  • What do you know about the rate of your metabolism? Find out all the details by attending "Molecular Control of Mammalian Iron Metabolism." Matthias We Hentze of the European Molecular Laboratory in Heidelberg, Germany, will present this program from noon to 1 p.m. in Room 256 of the Memorial Student Union.
