  • If you are interested in hearing about athletic promotions and discounts, send your e-mail address to: wilbur@ccit.arizona.edu. If you respond this week, you will be entered into a drawing for men's basketball tickets for the UA vs. ASU game in January.

  • Did you miss the Tucson Gem and Mineral Show? No problem, the Student Chapter of the Society of Economic Geologists is hosting a semi-annual Mineral and Fossil Sale. Stop by the tent on the UA Mall area from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. to check out the large selection of fine mineral and fossil specimens from around the world.

  • Don't travel to the crowded malls for holiday shopping, shop at the annual Winter Boutique presented by the Staff Development/Recognition Committee. A wide variety of home baked and handcrafted items for sale from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the courtyard of the College of Nursing. Proceeds will go toward the College of Nursing Retreat in '98.

  • The Pop-up Exhibition at the UA Main Library will not end tomorrow, as previously announced. The fun of this display will continue through January.

  • How's your G.P.A.? Does the thought of final exams put you in a state of shock? With finals just a week away it's not too early to start preparing. Join Kendra Gaines of the Writing Skills Improvement Program to start getting ready. Gaines will present "Final Exam Strategies: Part Two" in Modern Languages Room 413 at 5 p.m. This writing workshop is free for University of Arizona students.
