Today on Campus

  • Today's featured Black History Film is "Othello." You can catch this film at 3 p.m. in Room 100 of the African American Cultural Resource Center.

  • Join in the "Anne Frank Remembered" event at 7:30 tonight. This Academy Award winning film will be shown in Gallagher Theatre for $2.50. This showing is a special presentation of the Holocaust Conference.

  • Thomas Centolella will read from his poetry work at 8 p.m. tonight in the Auditorium of the Modern Languages building. Centolella is the author of "Terra Firma" and "Lights and Mysteries." He is visiting the UA Poetry Center as part of a statewide tour sponsored by the Academy of American poets.

  • Learn the tips and techniques of writing business letters, and even have fun. Different memorandums and formats will be discussed at the Writing Effective Business Letters lesson from 10 a.m. to noon today in Room 214 of the University Services building. To register call 621-7701 or email jimbray@u.arizona.edu.

  • Learn the correct method for "Shopping for Quality Plants." The Extension Garden Center, located at 4210 N. Campbell Ave., will provide this demonstration at 9 this morning.
