IFC tightens reigns on academic standards for Greek life programs
In an effort to tighten sagging fraternity GPAs, the UA Interfraternity Council has imposed new academic standards for students seeking the Greek life.






Smith takes over as UA wins big
Now it's Keith Smith's turn. The junior quarterback, who lost his job to Jenkins after a shoulder injury last season, made a solid bid to regain his job as starter when he came in and passed for touchdowns of 17 yards to Jeremy McDaniel and 7 to Dennis Northcutt as the Wildcats won in Hawaii, 27-6.






ASUA, Likins are missing the point
For everyone who feels the Monday installment of Jeremy Olson's "Looking for Billy" set the cause of gay rights in Tucson back 26 years with its elementary depiction of homophobic, gun-toting bugs, there is someone who thought the cartoon was a legitimate attempt to expose society's disdain for intimacy in male relationships.
