Res. Life still leaves some incomers
short
Since UA Residence Life caved in to overwhelming student
protest and scrapped its lottery plan, 400-500 incoming
freshmen who miss the May application deadline could be
turned away unless the university finds more space.

Finding ways to win
One note about Arizona men's basketball games this season.
They're not boring.
The No. 8 Wildcats (20-4, 11-3 Pacific 10 Conference) have
won close games with acrobatic shots, lost close games with
missed free throws and done just about everything else possible
to give fans a show, if not a heart attack, while amassing head
coach Lute Olson's 12th consecutive 20-win season.

Editorial: Hope for a better ASUA issue
forum next time
In principle, the ASUA Input Forum inviting students before ASUA officials to discuss issues near
and dear to them seemed a good idea. In practice last Thursday, it failed. Because events like the
input forum are so critical in principle, the lessons afforded by the meeting last week are important
for future ASUA officials.
