Grieving from a distance
Heather Husband stared at her TV through tears Tuesday afternoon as her former high school turned into a battleground. As her sorority sisters comforted her, the University of Arizona freshman waited anxiously for her younger brother to emerge from Columbine High School - then ran for a phone. "God, I was really, really scared," she said.






Hornbeek heads to NCAAs
Arizona junior Heidi Hornbeek will continue her season without her team at the NCAA Championships as the No. 1 at-large in the all-around this afternoon at the Huntsman Center in Salt Lake City.






Writing as a means of therapy
Writing is therapy. Research continues into this aspect of writing. The hypothesis is that you must aim right at the thing you want to relieve yourself from: domineering parents, drug problems, even health concerns. You pour your thoughts toward it, overcoming it as heroes in old Westerns used to outdo their foes with interminable staring.
