A Persian play entitled, "Tahirih: The Pure One" will be performed at the Memorial Student Union Cellar tonight at 7:30. This play is about an Iranian woman of courage, whose life and poetry inspire faith. For information call 621-0768.

UA philosophy professor Allen Buchanan will discuss the implications of recent advances in genetics tonight at 7 in a free public lecture the St. Gregory College Preparatory School. In his lecture, he will also discuss the Human Genome Project, an effort to decode human genetic inheritance and moral implications of cloning and of producing "designer children." Allen Buchanan can answer any questions at 621-3120.

Eno Washington, a dance performer and instructor with a specialty in African American dance, joins nationally renowned dance instructor Barbea Williams' performing arts company today.
