A middle eastern studies lecture entitled, "The Arab World Since the Cold War: Prospects for Democratization" will take place today at 11 a.m. at the Franklin building, Room 204. The middle eastern studies department can answer any questions at 621-5450.

The search is on for fresh faces who are destined to become the newest superstars in the fashion world. Elite Model Look 2000 will kick-off their search starting Friday from 6-8 p.m. at the Park Place Mall. They will also be there on Saturday at 11 a.m. A fashion show and live performances will also take place on Sat. from 1-3 p.m. Come and compete in a chance to share in over $900,000 in guaranteed modeling contracts. The 17th Annual Lame for a Game wheelchair basketball game between the UA men's and women's basketball teams and the UA Wildchairs is tonight at 7. This event will be held at the McKale Center.
