'Loveline' hosts entertain a sold-out Centennial Hall

Students lost in the rigors of college life were relieved Friday night by "Loveline" hosts Adam Carolla and Dr. Drew Pinsky, who brought their witty, informational radio and television show to UA.
The sold-out Centennial Hall audience was allowed to ask the hosts about any topic desired and was engaged by the problems of others, as well as a few interesting anecdotes from Carolla's storybook past.

UA volleyball team stunned by ASU win

Following Friday night's game against Arizona State, UA volleyball head coach David Rubio groaned.
"Now I know how Dick Tomey feels," Rubio said referring to the beleaguered football coach. "It's a bad, bad feeling."
The unranked Sun Devils, losers of eight straight matches to UA, came into Tucson Friday night and defeated the No. 14 Wildcats by the score of 15-12, 15-13, 7-15 and 15-11.

One of the main lessons taught in Politics 101 must be: when all else fails, be an extremist. Extremism works for politicians - even the insignificant ones.
Arizona Representative Jean McGrath has clearly mastered this art. At a recent Arizona Board of Regents meeting, the Glendale Republican said the following: "I cannot understand why a public university would want to have a co-ed dormitory - it's just beyond me."
