University police stopped a UA student early Sunday morning after spotting her walking on campus with an open beer, police reports stated.

An officer was patrolling East First Street at about 2:30 a.m. when he saw four women walking on the sidewalk, reports stated.

The officer saw that one woman, Kelli Ann Waclowski, 18, a resident at La Paz Residence Hall, 602 N. Highland Ave., was carrying a silver can, reports stated.

The officer followed the women until he identified the can as a beer can, then stopped them, reports stated.

According to reports, Waclowski asked the officer to give her a warning.

The officer asked for her name, and she gave him a false name, address and birth date, reports stated.

The officer asked Waclowski's friends what her real name was, and they told him, reports stated.

Waclowski then gave the officer her valid driver license, reports stated.

According to reports, the officer cited Waclowski on suspicion of minor in possession of alcohol and giving false information to a police officer.

Waclowski was released with her friends, reports stated.


A UA student reported to police that a man assaulted her early Sunday morning on her way home from a fraternity house, reports stated.

The woman was at the house at about midnight, and when she wanted to leave, she couldn't find the friends she went with, reports stated.

The woman said a man then offered her a ride home, reports stated.

She told the man no, and he offered to walk her home, reports stated.

The woman agreed to let him walk home with her, and during the walk, he put his hands on her shoulders, reports stated.

The woman told him to stop, and he pushed her on the ground, reports stated.

According to reports, she got up, kicked the man and ran to her home on the 1300 block of North Park Avenue.

The woman was not injured, reports stated.


A UA student called police Sunday after her stolen wallet was not returned, reports stated.

The student left her wallet on a box in the lobby of Parker House, 1775 E. First St., at about 3 p.m. on Sept. 24, reports stated.

When she returned at 3:30, the wallet was gone, reports stated.

According to reports, she didn't report the incident until Sunday because she thought someone from the residence hall might return the wallet.

The wallet contained an unknown amount of cash and the student's CatCard, reports stated.


Police arrested a man with multiple outstanding warrants Sunday morning after the Tucson Police Department asked UAPD to respond to his residence, reports stated.

TPD officers received a report of a man who matched an alert poster description, and found where he lived, reports stated.

Alvin T. Anderson, 39, of the 1700 block of North Third Avenue, matched the description of the man on the poster almost exactly, reports stated.

UAPD cited him on suspicion of two counts of threats and intimidation, driving with a suspended license, third degree criminal trespassing and possession of drug paraphernalia, reports stated.

Anderson was booked into Pima County Jail, reports stated.


Police pulled a man over early Sunday morning for speeding and found that he was driving with a suspended driver license, reports stated.

Makai K. Freitas, 21, of the 600 block of West Orange Grove Road, said he had a couple of beers and the officer asked him for his license, registration and insurance information, reports stated.

Freitas couldn't produce the insurance, and his registration was expired, reports stated.

According to reports, police checked his driver license and found it was suspended.

The officer cited Freitas on suspicion of no proof of insurance, expired registration and driving with a suspended license, reports stated.

Freitas was released to his friend, a passenger in the car, who drove him home, reports stated.
