Corndoggers survey, serve students

In the first-ever Corndog Awareness Day, members of a new UA club canvassed the student population for opinions surrounding the group's namesake product.
For one hour yesterday, the self-proclaimed "Corndoggers" handed out surveys on the University of Arizona Mall. In addition, club members provided free corndogs, complete with ketchup and mustard, and pamphlets detailing the club's purpose.

UA secondary takes its lumps

There might be only one group of UA football players who have endured the treatment in the media and in the public that compares to the kickers.
It's the defensive backfield, which has taken its lumps in the absence of All-American and current Baltimore Raven Chris McAlister.
But the criticism might not be all that deserved.

Community service is a great way to both fill up a resum and, more importantly, do good for society.
Students from the University of Arizona's James E. Rogers College of Law are proving this. Through dedicating their time to four legal clinics, students are providing free legal service in the areas of child advocacy, domestic violence, immigration and tribal law to members of the community.

When Wyclef Jean came to the University of Arizona Monday night, he brought the house down. Literally.
Thousands of tiny pieces of plaster ceiling became airborne as hip-hop artist Jean performed at the UA's Centennial Hall. A combination of a hard bass line and a roaring crowd shook dust from the hall's rafters.
