Police identify suspect in the Cat Man case
[news] Tucson police have identified the man who used a credit card stolen in a burglary attributed to the "Cat Man" - a suspected serial burglar and sexual offender. Sgt. Judy Altieri, a Tucson Police Department spokeswoman, said they have identified a man pictured in surveillance photos using the stolen credit card. Police said the man in the photo is Wayman Walker, 50, a light-skinned black man weighing about 220 to 230 pounds.

Editorial: City Council needs strong action against smut
[news] At this week's City Council meeting, the primary order of business was an ordinance that would take smut publications off the streets. Specifically, the ordinance would attempt to remove local smut tabloids such as Arizona Swingers and Pleasure Guide from roadside vending machines. However, loopholes built into the law would render it absolutely ineffective.

Tucson crowd not into new Rollins Band

Let's get one thing straight. Henry Rollins is a big, big guy. I could not imagine ever saying anything that may cause myself bodily harm at the hands of the former Black Flag frontman. However, the show at the Rialto on Monday night did not inspire much of a reaction from the diverse Tucson crowd.
