Police say there are no suspects at this time
Several shots were fired on campus early Sunday morning, resulting in nothing more than several local residents being startled, witnesses said.
Witnesses say about five or six shots were fired outside Park Student Union, 615 N. Park Ave., at approximately 1:30 a.m.
"There was a fight (by PSU) and gun shots started going off," said Brandon Kosak, a visitor to the University of Arizona. "People were ducking and running and freaking out."
Witnesses said they saw a group of people fighting on the west side of the union. The fighting eventually led to several shots fired into the air.
Cmdr. Brian Seastone of the University of Arizona Police Department said no one was injured in the altercation and that it is unknown exactly how many shots were fired.
There are no suspects at this time.
