Apache-Santa Cruz residence hall struck by series of thefts
Police suspect crimes have been committed by hall resident
More than a dozen thefts have victimized residents on the first floor of Apache-Santa Cruz Residence Hall in the past month.
Thirteen police reports were filed in January by residents who say their possessions - which include expensive items like laptop computers, televisions and CD players - have been stolen from their rooms.
Some smaller items, including cellular phones and wallets, were also stolen.

Likins: fewer classes, more jobs to be cut
Likins calls his previous estimates of 128 UA jobs and classes cut inaccurate
Sixty-nine UA employees were laid off and 115 courses canceled as a result of budget cuts, not the numbers UA President Peter Likins released last week.
Likins said in a campuswide e-mail released yesterday afternoon that the numbers he released at last week's Arizona Board of Regents meeting were inaccurate.

Wildcats face 'athletic' UW team tonight at home
Now that No. 11 Arizona is back to its winning ways, the Wildcats will look to pick up a little momentum heading into the home stretch against Washington tonight at 6:30 in McKale Center.
On paper, Washington (8-13 overall, 2-9 Pacific 10 Conference) seems overmatched, but the Huskies have assumed the role of spoiler and are eyeing the eighth and final spot in the Pac-10 tournament next month.
