Band interviews and photos

The band members of Kittie, an all-girl metal group hailing from Canada, probably have more balls than most guys. Their second album Oracle is harder and louder than the group's previous effort. The girls are currently on the road converting new fans each night with their thrashing guitars and growling vocals.

The band played to a packed house at the Rialto Theatre on Sunday. The following is an interview conducted with Kittie's lead singer/guitarist Morgan Lander while the band was on the road. [Read more]

Ill Ni–o is a band inspired by rhythm from south of the border. The six-piece outfit has a sound that changes from salsa beats to hardcore metal. The group is the opening band for Kittie on their current tour and brought down the house on Sunday at the Rialto Theatre with its version of "Eye for an Eye" by their label-mates Soulfly.
