Photos and story by Kevin Klaus Arizona Daily Wildcat Thrusday Feb. 21, 2002 Despite controversy ÷ and protesting ÷ over the University Activities Boardās choice of bands to play at UA, Sugar Ray played in Centennial Hall Tuesday night, entertaining people of all ages. Fans young and old made the trek from places as far a Flagstaff to enjoy the music. And Sugar Ray didnāt let the fans down, playing music from their newest self-titled album, as well as some older material. Lead singer Mark McGrath put on a highly energized show, wooing the ladies and exciting the crowd. From walking off the stage and into the audience to shoving the microphone down his pants, McGrath managed to keep the show hot ÷ and the protesters out in the cold. |
