Kid Rock and Aerosmith rocked Cricket Pavilion on Friday night in a coming together of two different generations, but something was missing. With the Oct. 30 killing of Run DMC's Jam Master Jay, the group was replaced by Rock group,

Both Kid Rock and Aerosmith began their performances with a similar, high energy mood, and both chose to pay tribute to the late Jam Master Jay.

Aerosmith tantalized fans by proceeding to the middle of the lawn during the performance, playing the songs Dream On and Love In An Elevator before heading back to the main stage.
