A student's black leather wallet was stolen early on the morning of Feb. 21 from the Delta Tau Delta fraternity house, 1050 N. Cherry Ave., reports stated.

The student said he had taken his wallet out of his pocket around midnight and set it on a ledge while he was playing basketball.

The student said a party had been going on at the fraternity at the same time.

When the student went to get his wallet around 1 a.m., it was gone, reports stated.

The student said the wallet had $10 and a CatCard in it.

Police have no suspects or witnesses.


Someone stole the rear tire off a student's bike sometime between Feb. 23 and Wednesday while the bike was parked at the Alpha Gamma Rho fraternity house, 638 E. University Blvd., reports stated.

The student told police he had locked his bike by placing a U-lock through the front tire around noon on Feb. 23.

When he went to get his bike around 11 a.m. on Wednesday, he found his rear bike tire gone.

The student said there was no other damage to the bike, reports stated.

The student had to pay $50 to get another bike tire installed and to repair and install new gears.

Police have no suspects or witnesses, reports stated.


A student's black backpack with a $90 chemistry book and a $150 money order inside was stolen on Feb. 23 while the student was studying at the UA Main Library, 1510 E. University Blvd., reports stated.

The student said she had left her study area for only five minutes, and when she returned, her backpack was gone.

The student said she had talked to several students in the area, and none of them had seen anyone take the backpack, reports stated.

Police have no suspects or witnesses.


A man's $80 bike was stolen Feb. 23 while it was parked at the Modern Languages building, 1423 E. University Blvd., reports stated.

The man told police the bike had no front tire on it when it was stolen, and he had locked the bike by placing a U-lock through the back tire.

The man found the cut U-lock on the ground where the bike had been, reports stated.

Police have no suspects or witnesses.


Someone found a gold mirror compact Tuesday morning in a Zone 1 lot, 2603 E. First St., reports stated.

The compact was turned into UAPD. Police don't know who the compact belongs to, reports stated.

The compact was placed into property.


A student's $140 red mountain bike was stolen Tuesday while it was parked at the Anthropology building, 1009 E. South Campus Drive, reports stated.

The student told police she had double-locked the bike around 11:30 a.m., and when she returned about three hours later, the bike was gone.

Police have no suspects or witnesses, reports stated.


A student lost her dark green wallet Tuesday morning while in front of the Speech building, 1131 E. Second St., reports stated

The student told police she had used her wallet at the Student Union Memorial Center around 10:30 a.m. The student said she was walking around 11:45 a.m. when she felt something bump her leg. She then realized her wallet was gone.

The student said the wallet had Velcro on it and had two credit cards, a debit card and $15 in cash, reports stated.


A $300 hybrid Mountain bike was stolen Tuesday while the bike was parked at the Music building, 1017 N. Olive Road, reports stated.

The owner of the bike said he had locked his bike around 10:30 a.m. with a cable lock, and when he returned around 3:30 p.m., the bike was gone. The owner said his white bike helmet had been stolen along with the bike.

Police have no suspects or witnesses.
