Freshman outfielder has heard some rumors and has Îhair that's too cute for words'

Wildcat: Hi, I'm Claire from the Wildcat and you're on the spot. So tell me about the cute hair that your teammates keep teasing you about.

Nix: My cute hair is just too cute for words.

Wildcat: Tell me what it feels like to hit a home run.

Nix: Oh, your adrenaline is just so high, and you're pumped, and it's fun.

Wildcat: What was your first home run like?

Nix: Well, I came in as a designated hitter, and then I hit the first pitch out and I just couldn't believe it.

Wildcat: Do you have any superstitions?

Nix: Umm · not really. All through high school, my teammate and I would always warm up on the same side of the field and we always warmed up in the exact same spot. But since I've gotten here, I haven't really done anything like that.

Wildcat: I guess that means you can get away with actually changing your socks every day without worrying about whether or not it'll affect your game. Do any of the other girls have any superstitions?

Nix: A lot of girls, they wear bows in their hair. So if they don't wear the bows, they might lose.

Wildcat: I see that you're wearing the bows, too.

Nix: Yeah, they got me wearing the bows.

Wildcat: Well, it looks cute · so I guess it all works out. So do you guys have any zany pranks that you pull with each other?

Nix: Well, we haven't had any pulled on us freshmen yet, but I'm sure there'll be some.

Wildcat: Have you heard any stories about last year's freshman class?

Nix: Not really. · Well, I've heard one · and me and my roommate lock our bags up now because we don't want anyone getting into them.
