UA head soccer coach Dan Tobias announced the program's annual team awards Tuesday, with 10 Wildcats receiving honors.

Junior Candice Wilks was named both the Offensive Most Valuable Player and Team MVP. That follows on the heels of several other accolades Wilks received for her performance last fall, including first-team All-Pacific-10 Conference third-team National Soccer Coaches Association of America All-West Region and third-team Soccer Buzz All-West Region.

The team's Defensive Most Valuable Player award went to junior Lindsey Peeples, while freshman Lauren Winters was chosen the squad's Rookie of the Year.

Sophomores Jennifer Klein and Courtney Moseley were both named Most Inspirational, and fellow sophomores Lisa Kosena, Cassie Daniels, Shannon Pidd and Althea Jones all received Academic Excellence Awards for earning a perfect 4.0 grade point average during the fall semester.

Senior Lindsey Greenwood was also recognized for her NSCAA Scholar Award.
