A student and his 17-year-old girlfriend were cited for being minors in possession early Saturday morning on the corner of East Speedway Boulevard and North Mountain Avenue, reports stated.
When police arrived, they saw the student and the girl sitting on a 3-foot wall. The girl had her head down and was throwing up.
When police asked if she needed medical attention, the girl said no. She then stood up, said she was 26 and almost fell over, reports stated.
The student told police that she was his girlfriend, and the girl sat down.
Both the student and the girl had bloodshot eyes and smelled of alcohol, reports stated.
Both admitted to drinking. The girl then told police she was 25, reports stated.
When police asked where they were coming from, the student told police he was a pledge at the Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity and had been at a date dash.
Police then asked to see the student's and the girl's IDs. The ID the girl gave police did not look like her, reports stated.
The girl then gave police her real name and age.
Police told the girl that because she was a minor, she would need to call her parents and get permission to be released to the student.
The student was able to get permission.
The girl was cited for having a fake ID, and both she and the student were cited for drinking underage.
Both were released, reports stated.
A man found another man sleeping in his car Saturday morning. The car was parked in front of the man's house on East Edison Street, reports stated.
The car's owner told police he had gone back into his house after discovering the man. The owner said he had seen the man rummaging through his car while he was looking out his window.
When police arrived, they asked the man if he had any drugs or weapons.
The man told police he had pot in his shirt pocket, reports stated.
The man told police he had been wandering around the night before and got cold and tired.
He said the car door had been unlocked, and that he had fallen asleep inside, reports stated.
The car's owner told police nothing was missing from the car, but the man had spit all around the front seat.
The man told police he was not homeless but sometimes slept in buildings on North Fourth Avenue.
Police took the man to Pima County Jail, where he was booked for burglary and criminal damage, reports stated.
The marijuana was placed into evidence.
UAPD officers helped the Tucson Police Department break up a party early Sunday morning at the Kappa Alpha fraternity house, 906 N. First Ave., reports stated.
UAPD officers were walking by when they saw TPD officers talking to several members of the fraternity.
TPD told UAPD officers they had received a noise complaint and were shutting down the party, reports stated.
Police helped make sure everyone left the party safely and told the president of Kappa Alpha to be more aware of the concerns of neighbors.
A student yelled at a woman working at the front desk of Babcock Residence Hall, 1717 E. Speedway Blvd., Thursday after the woman wouldn't give him a package, reports stated.
The woman told police the student had come to pick up a package. When the woman asked for the student's ID, she saw the package belonged to his roommate.
The woman told the student his roommate would have to pick up the package, and the student started yelling at her, reports stated.
The student then tried to go behind the desk to get the package. The woman said the student did not leave until she threatened to call police.
The woman told police she had been very upset but did not want to press charges.
Police tried to talk to the student about the incident, and he got angry and began yelling, reports stated.
Police told the student not to be abusive toward the staff and left.
Police found an Osco shopping cart Sunday morning on the fourth floor of the Park Avenue Garage, 1140 N. Park Ave., reports stated.
Police returned the cart to the Osco store manager.
A baby blue sedan hit a student Thursday while she was stepping off the stairs of the Sixth Street Garage, 1201 E. Sixth St., reports stated.
The student told police the driver of the sedan had been driving very fast and had hit her handbag.
The student said the driver then sped off. The student told police she was not injured but wished to press charges.
Police have no suspects or witnesses, reports stated.
