Question: Do you feel that the Recording Industry Association of America subpoenaing students here at the UA is right?

"Well I feel the RIAA is making people afraid to use the Internet. But at the same time, people should have some responsibility for what they do. I think it's right and wrong."

"I think it's unnecessary. I think there are better ways to go after people who violate copyright laws than to go after the lowest guy on the totem poll."

"I think it's wrong. I don't think they should target the average student, who doesn't have a lot of money anyway."

"Considering that I got caught last year, I think downloading music is OK. A lot of artists benefit from people downloading their songs; it gets their name out there."

"I think in a way the RIAA is right, because downloading is taking money away from the artists."
