The Graham-Greenlee memorial service for Joseph Johnson has been changed from tomorrow to tonight at 5 p.m. The service will be held in the Graham-Greenlee Residence Hall courtyard.

Johnson, a Graham-Greenlee resident assistant, was killed in a motorcycle accident April 18 along with passenger Lindsay Schiffman, who was a media arts senior.

The motorcycle crashed into a brick house near North Euclid Avenue and East Edison Street. Both Johnson and Schiffman were thrown from the motorcycle on impact.

Johnson died at the scene. Schiffman, who was wearing a helmet, was taken to University Medical Center, where she died at 11 a.m. that day.

Attendees of today's memorial service are asked to bring canned food, which will be given to the Salvation Army in Johnson's and Schiffman's honor.

Officer Michelle Pickrom, spokeswoman for the Tucson Police Department, said the accident was attributed to excessive speed and loss of control over the vehicle. Police are investigating other causes.
