What's that smell?

The invisible perfume or cologne plays an important part in your overall poise. Sure, a fashionable outfit and a confident posture contribute to a certain look, but that certain scent can draw others in like vultures.

Try finding a fitting scent and sticking with it as your everyday trademark, then mixing things up a bit for special occasions. Feeling sassy? Try M.A.C's unisex MV3, an exotic, sexy aroma with ingredients from Tahiti, Madagascar and Indonesia to name a few (.5 oz., $20; 1.7 oz., $36).

Look for a fragrance that's right for you - cool, crisp, warm, bright or sexy. Once you've found it, be sure not to load it on too much, though. That's just scent common sense.
