An employee uniform was stolen Tuesday from a locker room in the Student Union Memorial Center, 1303 E. University Blvd., reports stated.
An employee of the Cellar Restaurant padlocked the uniform, a blue apron, a shirt and a blue denim hat, in a locker Nov. 21 at 5 p.m. When he returned Monday at 9 p.m. to retrieve it, the items were gone along with the padlock.
The employee said no other employees had found his uniform and he does not know who would steal it, reports stated.
Police have no suspects or witnesses.
A stereo and a UA parking permit were reported stolen from a student's Jeep Tuesday while it was parked in a lot at 324 N. Highland Ave., reports stated.
The student left his vehicle parked on Friday at 11 p.m. When he returned Sunday at 5 p.m., he saw that the permit, stereo and a pair of sunglasses were missing.
The student did not lock the car and there were no signs of forced entry, reports stated.
Police have no suspects or witnesses.
A $250 leather jacket was stolen from an office in the Shantz building, 1200 E. South Campus Drive, Tuesday, reports stated.
An employee called police after she found the thigh-length black leather jacket missing from her office Tuesday at 7:10 a.m. She had left it draped over a chair in the office Monday at 4:30 p.m.
Before leaving, she locked the door to the office.
The key ring and university keys in her coat pocket were also taken, reports stated.
Police found no signs of forced entry and have no suspects or witnesses.
A Mongoose EXR mountain bike was reported stolen Tuesday after a student left it locked at the Risk Management building, 1610 N. Vine Ave., reports stated.
The student locked the red and black mountain bike to a bike rack Nov. 20. He used a cable lock and a U-Lock to secure the bike.
When he returned Tuesday at 11:45 a.m., the bike and the locks were missing, reports stated.
Police have no suspects or witnesses.
A student called police Tuesday after she found the driver side door mirror missing from her car, reports stated.
The student parked her blue Ford Focus on Monday in a lot at 515 N. National Championship Drive. When she returned Tuesday at 1 p.m., the door mirror was gone.
The student and police could not find the mirror in the lot, reports stated.
Police have no suspects or witnesses.
Police cited a student for leaving the scene of an accident Tuesday after he rear-ended another car at East Speedway Boulevard and North Park Avenue the day before, reports stated.
The student was located after the woman who was hit gave the student's license plate number to police.
The woman was taken to University Medical Center after the accident because of pain, reports stated.
After police found the student in his apartment at Palm Shadows Apartments, 1815 E. Speedway Blvd., he said the woman was stopped in the intersection at a green light. He was not able to stop in time.
The student said he left the accident because he was upset that the woman was stopped at the green light, reports stated.
Police also cited the student for not having valid insurance.
A $78 ashtray was stolen Monday from the South Hall building, 1042 E. South Campus Drive, reports stated.
The ashtray was last seen at 10 a.m. and was reported missing at 2:30 p.m. It was located on the south side of the building, reports stated.
Police have no suspects or witnesses.
A wallet was stolen from a cubicle in the Steward Observatory, 933 N. Cherry Ave., Monday, reports stated.
A student was studying in the building and left for lunch at 11:30 a.m. When he returned, his wallet was missing.
The student left his mobile phone and keys in the cubicle, but they were not stolen, reports stated.
Police have no suspects or witnesses.
