A woman was caught driving drunk Saturday night at North Park Avenue and East Drachman Road, reports stated.
Police approached the woman when she ran into a curb.
The woman would not respond when police asked for proof of insurance. Finally she said, "I'll try and look for it," reports stated.
Police noticed the woman smelled of alcohol. When police asked if she had been drinking, her husband said she hadn't. Police asked the woman again, and she said, "I've had too much to drink. I know I'm going to jail."
She then said, "I've had bad experiences with police before," reports stated.
When she was asked to do a field sobriety test, she said, "You stupid cop; you have an attitude problem. You're making me do those tests so I will fail."
The woman would not take a breathalyzer and was taken to University Medical Center for a blood test, reports stated.
She said, "Try to get blood, and I'll sue you." The woman and her husband started arguing. UMC security had to be called, reports stated.
The woman was taken to UAPD and given a DUI, reports stated.
A man tried to assault police officers after they caught him urinating at 1100 E. North Campus Drive Sunday morning, reports stated.
When police approached the man, he said, "Do you know what they did to me in jail?"
When police asked why he had urinated, he said, "I just want a break. Can I go?"
The man would not cooperate with police and tried to punch an officer, reports stated.
After police arrested the man, he told them that he was in a gang and would have them all killed.
The man was booked into Pima County Jail for attempted aggravated assault, resisting arrest and criminal littering, reports stated.
A pedestrian got mad when the employees at Wendy's, 1005 N. Campbell Ave., wouldn't allow him to order from the drive-thru window early Sunday morning, reports
stated.
The man yelled at the employees when they prohibited him from ordering at the window.
When police arrived, the man said he didn't know why they wouldn't serve him, because he had money, reports stated.
Police asked the man to sit on the curb, and he said, "Why should I?"
Police had to handcuff him, reports stated.
The man was cited for disorderly conduct and released.
Police charged a man with minor in possession after they found him urinating on a dumpster at 906 N. First Ave. early Sunday morning, reports stated.
When police approached him, he said, "I'm sorry, I was leaving a party and waiting for my ride home."
Police smelled alcohol on his breath and noticed the man had watery, red eyes, reports stated.
The man was cited for underage consumption and released.
A student's $1,200 laptop computer was stolen Sunday night from La Paz Residence Hall, 602 N. Highland Ave., reports stated.
The computer was stolen when the student's roommate left the door unlocked to take a shower.
The roommate said that he'd only been gone for 20 minutes, reports stated.

A $3,300 ceiling projector was stolen Monday from the Harvill building, 1103 E. Second St., reports stated.
The projector was stolen from Room 204 sometime between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m.
