A woman gave a .22-caliber bullet she found to an employee who turned it over to police Wednesday at Arizona-Sonora Residence Hall, 910 E. Fifth St., reports stated.
A resident found the bullet in the hall's community laundry room and turned it over to the supervisor on duty, reports stated.
Police confiscated the bullet and planned to destroy it, reports stated.
A man was charged with possession of marijuana Monday after a pedestrian said he was trying to sell the drug to him on North Cherry Avenue and East Enke Drive, reports stated.
Police were driving down the street when a pedestrian stopped them and said, "The guy that just crossed the street just tried to sell me weed," reports stated.
Police caught up with the man and saw he was walking alongside a man riding a bicycle, reports stated.
Police asked man who was walking if he had any marijuana with him and the man said "Yes, I have a couple of joints in my pocket," reports stated.
However, when police conducted a pat down search, they did not find any marijuana in either pocket, reports stated.
Police searched a bag the man was carrying and found a clear, plastic bag of marijuana and a clear glass pipe, reports stated.
The pipe had a residue and odor of marijuana, reports stated.
The man told police he forgot he had the substance in his bag, reports stated.
The man said the marijuana and pipe were his and he "had smoked his crack up about two hours ago," reports stated.
The man was cited and released on the scene.
Someone stole a student's license plate off his car Monday when it was parked in Sixth Street Parking Garage, 1201 E. Sixth St., reports stated.
The student left his car around 11:45 a.m. and when he returned at 3:55 p.m., he noticed the rear license plate had been removed, reports stated.
The front license plate was still intact, reports stated.
Police told the student he should call the Motor Vehicle Division to report the missing plate and request a replacement, reports stated.

An employee's parking pass was stolen out of her unlocked car Sunday near Rogers Roundtree Hall, 1201 E. Speedway Blvd., reports stated.
The woman locked her belongings and a key in the building and called security to gain access to the locked room, reports stated.
Since her keys were locked in a room, the employee left her car in the parking lot all night, reports stated.
She arrived at her car to find the glove box had been tampered with and her parking permit was missing, reports stated.
Police contacted Parking and Transportation Services to report the stolen permit, reports stated.

Someone broke a headlight on a UA service vehicle that was parked outside of Life Sciences South building, 1007 E. Lowell St., reports stated.
Police were doing a routine inspection of the area and noticed damage to the UA service vehicle, reports stated.
Police were unable to contact who had control of the car at the time of the damage, reports stated.
