Junior unimpressed with Oscars, but wants to win one with his afro
Wildcat: My name is Kylee and you're on the spot. So, what'd you think of the Academy Awards?
Gladstein: I wasn't that impressed. Not as fun as in past years, but I was really happy that Jamie Foxx won. I was rootin' for him all the way.
Wildcat: Why didn't you think it was good as in past years?
Gladstein: I just think it was too boring. They were trying to cut the time too short and cut out people's speeches. You see how they were bringing the nominees up on the stage now, and they're having people accept their awards in the aisle. That's ridiculous. Let them get up on stage and say their piece.
Wildcat: So, besides Jamie Foxx, whom else were you routing for?
Gladstein: Other than Jamie Foxx, I really wanted Clint Eastwood to win. I'm a really big Clint Eastwood fan.
Wildcat: For directing or acting?
Gladstein: Both. I mean, as many awards as he can gather. I really liked "Million Dollar Baby." You don't really notice the directing job that they do, but I thought he did a really great acting job, as he does in all his films. I was very happy about that. Those were the only two movies I've actually seen that were up for Best Picture.
Wildcat: So, whose cleavage do you think was most compelling?
Gladstein: Oh ... ah ... Catherine Zeta Jones'?
Wildcat: Was she there?
Gladstein: Or no! What's-her-name ... Salma Hayek.
Wildcat: Ohhh. Why?
Gladstein: Just, hers is probably the one popping out the most out of everyone. (Laughs) She knows how to grab people's attention.
Wildcat: If you were ever to be nominated for an Oscar, what category would you want it to be in?
Gladstein: Hmmm ... that's a good question ... most likely white person to grow an afro.
Wildcat: Why? Can you grow an afro?
Gladstein: Absolutely.
Wildcat: Do it right now!
Gladstein: I wish I could. Come back to me in two months and I'll have one done for you.
