An employee's $125 and $25 personal check were stolen from a desk drawer in her office in the University Service Annex building, 220 W. Sixth St., sometime between March 11 and March 15, reports stated.
The employee told police that the drawer is not always secured. Police could not see any pry marks on the drawer, reports stated.
The only two people with the office key are the director and an office specialist. Both are not suspects according to the employee, reports stated.
The money was going to be used internally. The cash was from donations made by personnel at the UA, reports stated.
The employee told police she replaced the funds with her own, reports stated.
Police have no suspects or witnesses.
A student was assaulted by another student in the library of the Sigma Kappa sorority house, 1588 E. First St., Sunday evening, reports stated.
The student told police she and the other student had just returned from spring break in Lake Havasu City., reports stated.
She said that while in Lake Havasu they had verbal altercations and she told the other student that she did not wish to have any contact with her, reports stated.
She told police the other student entered her room without permission and began to argue with her, reports stated.
She said she agreed to talk with the other student in the library on the ground floor, reports stated.
While in the library she said they began to argue and it escalated, reports stated.
She told police the other student would not allow her to leave the library by sitting on a stool and blocking the exit. She said the other student began to punch her around her head and also kicked her in the shins, reports stated.
The student said she was able to get away and run to her room and lock the door, reports stated.
The student told police the other student had thrown her CDs into the garbage and written a note on her whiteboard, reports stated.
When police spoke to the assaulted student's roommate she confirmed the story and said when the student returned to the room from the library she shut the door and said, "that crazy bitch hit me" and "lock the door," reports stated.
The roommate told police the other girl knocked on the door and she told her to leave, which she did, reports stated.
When police spoke to the other student she admitted to having verbal altercations but did not admit to hitting her, reports stated.
She told police the other student assaulted her, grabbed her shoulders, pushed her out of the way and grabbed her by the top part of her hair, reports stated.
She did admit to throwing the other student's CDs into a "dumpster near the football stadium," reports stated.
There are no criminal charges pending and police have no other witnesses.
Police found exterior sheet metal of a car wrapped around a fire hydrant at North Euclid Avenue and East Sixth Street Sunday night, reports stated.
The sheet metal from the front passenger-side door appeared to have caused no damage to the hydrant, reports stated.
Police observed tire marks where the car appeared to be making a southbound turn off Sixth Street, jumped the curb, caught the door on the hydrant and continued southbound off the curb back onto the road, reports stated.
Police have no suspects or witnesses.
A woman reported that a gray minivan followed her around campus Saturday, reports stated.
The woman told police the minivan had been tailgating her around campus. She said she did not recognize the van or the female driver, reports stated.
The van left the scene before police arrived and police were unable to locate it, reports stated.
The woman said she has reported a peeping tom at her residence in the past, reports stated.

A student's bike was stolen from the bike racks outside of the Aerospace and Mechanical Engineering building, 1130 N. Mountain Ave., sometime Monday morning, reports stated.
The student told police he locked his bike up at midnight and noticed it was missing at 6 a.m., reports stated.
He told police he did not have a serial number for his bike, reports stated.
Police have no suspects or witnesses.
