A woman backed into a student driving on the top level of the Second Street Parking Garage, 1340 E. Second St., Saturday morning, reports stated.
The woman told police she was backing her vehicle out of a parking space when she accidentally backed into an oncoming vehicle. The oncoming vehicle was the student's car, reports stated.
The woman scratched and scraped her rear driver-side bumper and scratched, scraped and dented the student's car, reports stated.
Police spoke with the student who agreed with what the woman told police, reports stated.
There were no injuries and both vehicles were still drivable, reports stated.
The woman should have yielded to the student but no citations were issued, reports stated.
A student's ex-girlfriend had possession of the title to his vehicle and was unwilling to give the document back to him, reports stated.
The student told police Saturday he needed the title to register his car, and the title was with his ex-girlfriend, reports stated.
He gave the police a telephone number where they could reach her, reports stated.
Police spoke with the student's ex-girlfriend who told police that she did have the title, but the student had given her the title as collateral for a loan that she had given him, reports stated.
She said she had given money to him and his roommate, and the money had not been paid back to her, reports stated.
Police asked the student's ex-girlfriend if she would turn the title over to them and she said she would, reports stated.
Police met with the woman at Coronado Residence Hall, 822 E. Fifth St., at which time she handed over the title and other vehicle-related documents to police, reports stated.
Police then spoke with the student again who said he did not give the title to her, nor did he feel that he owed her money, reports stated.
Police informed the student they had his title and associated documents, and he agreed to meet with police to get the documents, reports stated.
Police told both parties that no further action would be taken about this case, and any other legal recourse would have to be civil in nature, reports stated.
Both parties said they understood, and both were given a case number, reports stated.
A student's car was stolen while parked in a Zone 1 lot, 1420 E. Seventh St., sometime Saturday afternoon, reports stated.
The student told police he parked his car on the east side of the lot at 1:30 p.m., and when he returned at 4:30 p.m. he noticed his car was missing, reports stated.
The student told police his backpack with books, multiple CDs and tools totaling about $750 were also in the car and stolen, reports stated.
He said the doors were locked when he left his vehicle, reports stated.
Police did not find any broken glass at the scene. Police have no suspects or witnesses.
An unknown woman signed a student's credit card receipt and took her food at Kaibab-Huachuca Residence Hall, 922 E. Fourth St., early Saturday morning, reports stated.
The student told police she ordered food from Pita Pit, 845 E. University Blvd., and gave her credit card number for payment, reports stated.
She said when the food did not arrive after 45 minutes she re-contacted Pita Pit, reports stated.
The student told police the deliveryman told her he delivered the food about 30 to 45 minutes prior to the call and an intoxicated white woman signed for it, reports stated.
She then contacted the University of Arizona Police Department to report the theft of her credit card number, reports stated.
Police later spoke with the driver from Pita Pit who said when he got to the residence hall a woman walked up to him and said she was waiting for him, reports stated.
He told police the woman signed the receipt and he gave her the food. He said he did not ask for identification, reports stated.
Police have no suspects or witnesses.
