A man pushed and spit in a student's face April 18 after she told him she was in a sorority, reports stated.
The student said she was walking at East Second Street and North Mountain Avenue when an unknown man approached her and asked if she was a member of the greek community, reports stated.
The student said yes, and the man said, "Fuck you, you stupid whore," reports stated.
The student told police she tried to walk away, but the man said, "That's right stupid sorority bitch, walk away from me," reports stated.
The man pushed the woman lightly on her shoulders, and she slapped him across the face, reports stated.
Immediately, the man spit in the student's face, reports stated.
A woman walked up to the student and said, "Don't slap my boyfriend," reports stated.
The student said her friends drove their vehicle to where she was, and she got inside their car, reports stated.
The student said the man and the woman were about 19 to 20 years old, reports stated.
Police told the student to contact police if she saw either individual again.
An employee turned in three $1 bills he found outside the University of Arizona Police Department, 1852 E. First St., reports stated.
The employee said he found the money on the ground Tuesday morning and decided to notify police, reports stated.
Police placed the bills in evidence for safekeeping because the bills had no identification as to who the owner may be or the person's contact information, reports stated.
No one has claimed the bills.
Police arrested a man April 18 who was loitering at East Speedway Boulevard and North Park Avenue for possession of marijuana, reports stated.
The man identified himself to police and said he was in the area to sell magazine subscriptions, reports stated.
Police approached the man at 7:30 p.m. because he was seen in the area most of the evening, reports stated.
Police did a records check on the man and found he had a felony warrant for possession of marijuana and a misdemeanor warrant for alcohol violations, reports stated.
The man had 0.6 grams of marijuana, and police transported him to Pima County Jail.
An employee found a crumpled up piece of tin foil and black residue floating in a toilet April 18 at the Slonaker House, 1027 E. Second St., reports stated.
Another employee called police to report the findings and she said the tin foil appeared to have scorch marks, reports stated.
Police arrived on the scene and found black residue in the toilet water and on a nearby windowsill, reports stated.
Police found a plastic bag on the ground of the bathroom, reports stated.
The employee said many people use the coed bathroom everyday and did not know who could have left it there, reports stated.
Police have no suspects or witnesses.
A student's car was stolen April 18 when she was working out in the Student Recreation Center, reports stated.
The student said she parked her car at 9:30 p.m. in a Zone 1 lot, 1420 E. Seventh St., and when she returned at 10:50 p.m., the car was missing, reports stated.
The student called her father to see if he took the car, but he said he had not, reports stated.
Police arrived on the scene and could not find any evidence around the parking spot the car was in, reports stated.
The student said her purse and wallet were in the car, and police advised her to cancel her credit cards, reports stated.
Police have no suspects or witnesses.
Someone stole an employee's $500 laptop computer April 17 from his "tucked away" office, reports stated.
The employee said he was using the computer but had to leave his office in the Sonett Space Sciences building, 1541 E. University Blvd., reports stated.
The employee said he was gone for about 15 minutes, reports stated.
The computer belonged to the Arizona State University Physics and Astronomy Department, reports stated.
The employee said no one should have been in his office because it is hidden in the back of the building, reports stated.
Police have no suspects or witnesses.
