A student was arrested for leaving the scene of an accident in Tyndall Avenue Parking Garage, 880 E. Fourth St., Friday afternoon, reports stated.
A student told police she was in the garage and a car backed into her, reports stated.
She said the driver got out, looked at the damage and left without leaving her insurance information, reports stated.
The student said she followed the car and got the license plate number, reports stated. Police made contact with the driver who said she remembered the accident and it was Sue who was driving, but she did not know what to do and left, reports stated.
She said the other student followed her but did not pull over, reports stated.
Police took both students' information and cited and released the one student for her failure to remain at the accident, reports stated.
Ten fire extinguishers were stolen from their casting mounts at various locations in La Aldea Residence Hall, 825 E. Fifth St., sometime between April 5 and April 20, reports stated.
The maintenance supervisor told police a monthly inventory was conducted on April 5 for fire extinguishers at the hall, reports stated.
He said all fire extinguishers were accounted for on that day, reports stated
On April 20, a walk through was done and three extinguishers were found missing and immediately replaced, reports stated.
After finding the three extinguishers missing they decided to check the entire hall again and discovered seven more were missing, reports stated.
All of the extinguishers were replaced, reports stated.
Police have no investigative leads, suspects or witnesses.
Prior to the completion of the report, one of the extinguishers was found by a passerby in the parking lot south of Coronado Residence Hall, 822 E. Fifth St.
A student told police e-mails she had not sent were being received by her boyfriend's ex-girlfriend sometime before Friday, reports stated.
The student told police she did not send any e-mails to her boyfriend's ex-girlfriend and was worried that someone may have access to her e-mail accounts, reports stated.
She told police that her boyfriend informed her that his ex-girlfriend had told him that she was receiving harassing e-mails from her, reports stated.
The boyfriend told police he and his ex broke up and he felt she might not have been taking it well, reports stated.
The student gave police his ex-girlfriend's number and police contacted her, reports stated.
She told police she was willing to talk, but did not want to comment on the e-mails the student alleged she had been receiving, reports stated.
She said she did not want to talk about the situation but would contact the University of Arizona Police Department if she needed any assistance, reports stated.
Police explained to both parties that this dispute was a civil matter and would have to be resolved civilly, reports stated.
The student told police she would contact the Center for Computing and Information Technology to determine if her e-mail account had been accessed, reports stated.
A man was arrested for possession of marijuana, drug paraphernalia, driving on a suspended license and an outstanding warrant at the Circle K at East Sixth Street and North Cherry Avenue Friday, reports stated.
Police saw a car traveling westbound on Sixth Street with no headlights on and proceeded to pull the car over, reports stated.
The driver told police he did not have a license because it was suspended, reports stated. A records check revealed his license was suspended and the passenger's license was suspended also, reports stated.
The two were traveling with three small children in the car, reports stated.
Dispatch then informed the officer the driver had an outstanding warrant with the Pima County Sheriff's Department for failure to appear on a DUI charge, reports stated.
The driver was placed under arrest, searched and placed in the back seat of a police car, reports stated.
Police searched the car and found marijuana on the passenger floorboard along with two packets of rolling papers, reports stated.
The passenger was placed under arrest, reports stated.
The driver admitted to the marijuana and paraphernalia being his and said he used it for personal use, reports stated.
The man was booked into Pima County Jail, and the children and passenger were released to the driver's mother at the scene, reports stated.
A student's wallet was stolen from the Main Library, 1510 E. University Blvd., April 19, reports stated.
The student told police he last noticed his wallet at 8 p.m. while studying at the northwest corner of the main library, reports stated.
When the student left at 10 p.m. his wallet was missing, reports stated.
Police have no suspects or witnesses.
