Although no Arizona football player was drafted in the April 23-24 NFL Draft, NFL teams picked up four Wildcat free agents over the weekend.

Seniors Andre Torrey, Steve Fleming, Carlos Williams and Chris Johnson will get the opportunity to try out for NFL teams.

The Super Bowl champion New England Patriots picked up Torrey, a defensive lineman who will likely play linebacker in the pros. Torrey was the Wildcats' leader in tackles for losses (13) and sacks (five) last season.

The tight end Fleming gets a professional opportunity in New York with the Giants. Fleming finished his Arizona career with 50 catches, four touchdowns and 584 yards.

The Houston Texans picked up the offensive lineman Johnson and the defensive lineman Williams.
