A UA employee reported seeing a naked man urinating the morning of June 1 at the Main Gate Garage, 815 E. Second St., reports stated.
When police arrived they found a man with no shirt and Levi shorts on the fifth level of the garage. The man was pencil sketching a downtown building. The man said he had never been naked or urinating, reports stated.
The employee told police it had looked like the man had been peeing, but said she wasn't sure if he was. The employee said she thought the man was naked because h e didn't have on a shirt.
Police did not find any urine on the ground, reports stated.
Two men were cited for underage drinking the afternoon of May 28, after a UA employee saw them trespassing at the Mount Graham International Observatory, 1651 W. Discovery Park Blvd. in Safford, reports stated.
When police arrived the employee said he saw the two men in an area that was clearly marked, "No Trespassing, Violators will be Prosecuted" around 3 p.m., reports stated.
The employee said the men were in a pickup truck and said when he approached the men they drove away.
Police saw the pickup truck nearby; one of the men was standing outside and talking on his cell phone. Police saw a Keystone Light in the driver's side cup holder. Police also saw another beer can on the floor of the passenger seat. Some of the beer had spilled onto the carpet, reports stated.
The two men said they were spending the night on Mt. Graham and said they had come to have a good time. One of the men said he had previously been arrested for underage drinking. Both men said they didn't have any more beer at their camp. Police poured out the beer that was left in the two cans, reports stated.
The two men said they did not see the No Trespassing sign and said they had only gone up that road because they were trying to make a phone call and couldn't get any service.
The employee said he did not want to press trespassing charges.
The two men were released. The beer cans were photographed and destroyed.
The photographs were placed into police evidence, reports stated.
A man was drinking a Red Dog beer Thursday afternoon in an alley near North Sixth Street and East Cherry Avenue, reports stated.
The man was cited for drinking in public and released.
Two men camping at Mount Graham International Observatory on May 29 were found with marijuana and cited for having an illegal campfire and trespassing, reports stated.
When police arrived around 2 p.m. they noticed that the men were camping at the Red Squirrel Refuge, which is closed to the public.
The men told police they did not know of any restrictions. They said they had noticed the telescopes, but had not known it was a restricted area, reports stated.
The men said they bought the map in Tucson and said no one told them there were any restricted areas on the mountain.
Police noticed that one of the men had an axe. Police asked the man if he had any other weapons and the man said no. Police asked to see the men's IDs. One of the men went into the tent discretely and quickly closed the tent back up. Police thought the man was acting strange, reports stated.
Police asked the men if there were any weapons or illegal material in the tent. The men said no and told police they could search the tent, reports stated.
When police opened the tent they saw an orange glass pipe with residue in it. One of the men said it was his and said he smoked tobacco. Police smelled marijuana and the man then admitted he had a bag of marijuana and gave it to police, reports stated.
The man said he grew the marijuana at his home. He said he used to have a marijuana plant, but doesn't anymore, reports stated.
The other man then admitted that he had a smoking pipe and a bag of marijuana.
Police noticed there was evidence of a campfire at the site and took photographs.
The police report was forwarded to the Graham County Attorney's office for review and the men were asked to leave the site, reports stated.
A UA employee's $300 blue bike and $50 white helmet were stolen Thursday from the Aerospace Mechanical Engineering building, 1130 N. Mountain Ave., reports stated.
The employee said she parked her bike around 8 a.m. and locked it with a cable lock. She said she returned around 5 p.m. to find the bike gone.
Police have no suspects or witnesses, reports stated.
