A student was arrested for underage drinking early Saturday morning in Coronado Residence Hall, 822 E. Fifth St., after being visibly ill, reports stated.

Police met with the student at his room on the sixth floor. Police noticed he could not stand on his own, his words were unintelligible and he vomited on himself while police tried to speak to him, reports stated.

The student told police he had been drinking rum and Coke, reports stated.

The student gave police permission to retrieve his identification from his room that proved he was 18 years old, reports stated.

Medical personnel responded and transported the student to University Medical Center for observation, reports stated.

The student was cited and released to medical personnel, reports stated.

A student said an unknown person damaged the window of his Nissan 4x4 pickup while it was parked at Skyview Apartments, 1050 E. Eighth St., just before midnight Saturday, reports stated.

The student said someone pried back the sliding window near the back of the vehicle, reports stated.

The student inspected the rear of the vehicle and said there were no items missing and there was no additional damage, reports stated.

Police have no suspects or witnesses.

Two students were arrested for smoking marijuana just after midnight Friday in their room in Arizona-Sonora Residence Hall, 910 E. Fifth St., reports stated.

Police responded to the students' room on the fifth floor of the Arizona side and told the students they were there because someone reported smelling burnt marijuana coming from the room, reports stated.

One student handed police a baggie of what appeared to marijuana that he picked up off his bed, reports stated.

The students were spoken to separately and one student told the officer they had not been smoking in the room, but other people who were there before had been smoking. The students told police they did not know the names or whereabouts of the people who had been smoking, reports stated.

While speaking with the first student, the officer could see his pupils were dilated and upon smelling his right hand could sense the distinct smell of burnt marijuana, reports stated.

The officer also saw the student's taste buds were raised and had a green tint. The officer asked the student to lean his head back with his eyes closed and his eyes were fluttering nonstop, all signs on marijuana use, reports stated.

The other student was given the same field sobriety test and police asked one student where and when they had been smoking. The student denied smoking and requested a urine test, reports stated.

The student then said that he may have smoked the day before so a urine test was not a good idea. When asked who he smoked with at that time he said he didn't know, reports stated.

The students gave police consent to search their room. Police found 12 empty beer cans and five full cans of beer in the refrigerator, reports stated.

Police patted down one student and found a glass pipe with marijuana in it in his pants pocket, reports stated.

The same student pointed to a 2-foot bong in a black padded bag underneath his bed, reports stated.

Police also found a wooden pipe and scale in the same student's closet, reports stated.

Both students later admitted that they had been smoking in the room and blew the smoke out the window with the use of a small fan, report stated.

Both students were cited and released for unlawful possession of marijuana, possession of narcotic paraphernalia and minors in possession of alcohol, reports stated.

The suspected baggie of marijuana, pipes, bong and scale were placed into evidence. Police requested the Department of Public Safety perform a scientific examination on the items to confirm all residue was marijuana, reports stated.
