A student was diverted to the Dean of Students Office for possession of paraphernalia early Thursday morning in Cochise Residence Hall, 1018 E. South Campus Drive, reports stated.
Police arrived around 12:40 a.m. and saw four males sitting in the hallway.
Two of the males said they lived in Cochise. The student's roommate admitted to drinking but said he had not been smoking marijuana.
Police asked the student if they could look in his room and he said yes. Police saw a small water bong and a small glass pipe, reports stated.
Police asked the student if he had any more marijuana and the student said he had smoked it all.
Police put the bong and the pipe into evidence, reports stated.
A student was booked into Pima County Jail for underage drinking, trespassing and having a fake ID Thursday in Coronado Residence Hall, 822 E. Fifth St., reports stated.
Police recognized the student from a previous incident and knew he had been kicked out of Posado San Pedro Residence Hall for drug possession. The student was not allowed to go into any residence halls, reports stated.
When police approached the student, they noticed he smelled like alcohol and had red watery eyes.
Police asked the student if he knew he couldn't be in the residence halls and he said yes.
Police asked the student to come to the side and the student said, "No, why should I?"
Police asked if the student had an ID, and the student gave police his CatCard, reports stated.
The student was visibly agitated and police told him to calm down.
Police asked to see the student's driver's license, and the student got out his Arizona driver's license.
Police saw another ID in the student's wallet and asked if they could see it.
The student shouted, "Why should I?" and grabbed his wallet, reports stated.
The student was told to calm down and he was eventually handcuffed.
Police found a fake Iowa driver's license in the student's wallet.
On the way to jail, the student said he was a human being and a person.
The student said, "You wait two weeks and you'll see what happens," reports stated.
A small $9 bag of hazelnut coffee, a $12 box of chocolate and $10 in change were stolen from a UA employee's office sometime between Aug. 31 and Thursday at 1400 E. University Blvd., reports stated.
The employee said she last saw the items around 8 p.m. Aug. 31. She said she noticed they were gone around 1 p.m. Thursday.
The employee said it wasn't the first time small items had been stolen from the office.
She said the door is always locked and only UA employees have access.
Police have no suspects or witnesses, reports stated.
A man's $9,585 Dodge Dakota was stolen Thursday night from Arizona-Sonora Residence Hall, 910 E. Fifth St., and was later recovered by the Tucson Police Department, reports stated.
The man said he last saw his car around 7:30 p.m. and noticed it was missing around 8 p.m.
TPD found the car around 9 p.m. and returned it to the man, reports stated.
A student was cited for drug and paraphernalia possession Thursday night in Mohave Residence Hall, 2001 N. Park Ave., reports stated.
When police arrived around 9 p.m. they noticed the smell of marijuana coming from the student's room.
When police knocked, the student said they could come in.
Police asked where the marijuana was, and the student lifted up his sheet and handed them a small bag of green leafy substance, reports stated.
The student also gave police a glass pipe with residue in it and a lighter.
The student was released. The baggie and the pipe were placed into evidence, reports stated.
A student's car was damaged Thursday afternoon while it was parked in the Second Street Parking Garage, 1340 E. Second St., reports stated.
The student said his car was undamaged around 2 p.m. and he returned an hour and a half later to find a scrape on his rear panel. The damage was estimated at $250.
There was no paint transfer from the scratch.
Police have no suspects or witnesses, reports stated.
