A student was referred to the Dean of Students for underage drinking and possession of marijuana early Sunday morning after police saw him with a can of beer in the parking lot of Sigma Pi fraternity, 1525 E. Drachman St., reports stated.

Police saw the student around midnight. When the student saw the patrol car he tried to hide the beer can and walk inside, reports stated.

While police were talking to the student they noticed a large bulge in the student's left front pocket.

When police asked the student what the bulge was the student pulled out a small plastic container with marijuana in it.

The student called his roommate to give him a ride home.

The marijuana was placed into evidence, reports stated.


A student was cited for underage drinking early Sunday morning after police found her passed out on a bench near Navajo-Pinal Residence Hall, 1511 E. Sixth St., reports stated.

Police found the student around 2 a.m. and noticed that she had a small amount of vomit by her side.

The student said she had been playing ultimate Frisbee with a bunch of people and had not meant to drink that much.

The student was released, reports stated.


A student was referred to the Dean of Students for underage drinking early Sunday morning after police saw her walking out of Pi Kappa Phi, 1419 N. Cherry Ave., with a can of beer, reports stated.

When police approached the student around 1 a.m., they noticed that she had red, bloodshot eyes. The student also had difficulty walking.

The student said she had been taking shots of vodka with orange juice, reports stated.


A student's $150 orange mountain bike was stolen sometime between Thursday and Saturday from 922 E. Fourth St., reports stated.

The student said he had locked his bike with a cable lock around 10 p.m. on Thursday. The student said when he returned around 10 a.m. on Saturday the bike was gone.

Police have no suspects or witnesses, reports stated.


Someone lit a fire in a trashcan Saturday in a women's bathroom at the Main Mall transit center, 1610 E. University Blvd., reports stated.

When police arrived around 5 p.m. there was no sign of smoke or fire from outside of the restroom.

Police entered the restroom and smelled smoke.

There was a hole in the bottom of the trashcan, and there was charred paper inside the can, reports stated.

Police found several matchboxes lying on the ground in front of the restroom.

Police have no suspects or witnesses, reports stated.


Two students were cited for underage drinking early Friday morning after police saw one of the students holding a beer can at North Tyndall Avenue and East Fourth Street, reports stated.

Police approached the students around 2 a.m.

The student holding the beer can said, "What? I haven't been drinking."

The student did not appear to have been drinking.

Police smelled alcohol on the other student's breath.

The student said, "I'm not going to lie to you, I have a beer in my pocket, too," reports stated.

The student gave police the other beer can. Both beer cans were poured out.

The students were released, reports stated.


A man was cited for littering Friday after police caught him urinating near the bike racks at 1423 E. University Blvd., reports stated.

Police noticed the man around 4:30 p.m. The man was carrying a bike with no wheels on it and walking around the bike racks.

Police then found the spot where the man had urinated.

The man said he was on campus because he wanted to make copies of his resume for a job interview, reports stated.
