A student reported a $250 gray cell phone missing Sunday at the Student Union Memorial Center, 1303 E. University Blvd., reports stated.

The student said he put the cell phone on a window ledge around 11:30 a.m. The student said he noticed the phone was missing around 1 p.m.

The student said he would try to get a copy of the surveillance tapes and said he would call police if he noticed any suspects, reports stated.


A student lost his $30 black wallet sometime between Oct. 5 and Oct. 6 at North Park Avenue and East Sixth Street, reports stated.

The student said he had a $299.50 personal check, $10 and his military identification in the wallet.

The student said he last saw the wallet at 2 p.m. on Oct. 5. The student said he didn't notice it was missing until 7 p.m., reports stated.


A woman was cited for driving with a suspended license Sunday after police pulled her over at East Speedway Boulevard and North Campbell Avenue, reports stated.

The woman told police she was driving her mother's car.

Police told the woman not to drive and she was released, reports stated.


A student lost her $100 black and pink leather purse Saturday at the student union, 1303 E. University Blvd., reports stated.

The student said she had last seen the purse around 9:30 p.m. while she was in a bathroom on the second floor. She said she noticed it was missing 20 minutes later.

The student said she had her wallet, a $300 iPod, $25, credit cards and several forms of identification in the purse.

The student said she had canceled her credit cards, reports stated.


A student was cited for possession of marijuana and paraphernalia early Saturday morning after someone smelled burnt marijuana coming from his dorm room in Graham-Greenlee Residence Hall, 610 N. Highland Ave., reports stated.

Police arrived around 1 a.m. and asked the student if he knew why police were called. The student said yes, reports stated.

Police asked the student for the marijuana, and the student pulled out a glass pipe from under his bed.

The student also gave police a red bowl with a green leafy substance in it, another pipe and some cigarette papers.

The student was released. The bowl, pipes and cigarette papers were placed into evidence, reports stated.


Police found a white folded paper with a white powdery substance in a man's sock after he was arrested for having an outstanding warrant early Saturday morning at North Euclid Avenue and East Adams Street, reports stated.

Police booked the man into Pima County Jail around 4 a.m. after discovering he had a warrant during a drinking and driving investigation.

While police were booking the man they found the white substance and the man said, "Oh shit," reports stated.

Police could not test the substance on scene because there was not enough of it. The substance was sent to the lab for testing, reports stated.


A man was booked into Pima County Jail after police discovered he had an outstanding warrant Oct. 7 at the student union, 1303 E. University Blvd., report stated.

Police found out about the warrant around 2 a.m. while they were talking to the man.
