A student was cited for being a minor in possession Friday morning, reports stated.

Police arrived at the Arizona-Sonora Residence Hall, 910 E. Fifth St., to investigate a fight. A resident assistant pointed out a resident whose roommate was reportedly hit during the altercation, reports stated.

The officer followed the resident to his room and informed him that he needed to check on the resident's roommate, reports stated.

The resident opened the door and the roommate told police he was not involved in the altercation, reports stated.

While talking to the residents, the officer noticed an open can of beer on a computer desk in the room. The resident told police it was his computer desk, and the officer took both residents' identifications and began to do a records check in the hallway, reports stated.

The resident shut the door behind the officer and locked it, reports stated.

The resident later opened the door, and the officer noticed the can of beer was no longer on the desk, reports stated.

The resident told the officer he never saw the beer can, and the officer informed him that he would not leave the room until he found it, reports stated.

The resident jumped onto his bed and lay down, and the officer told him to sit back down in the chair, reports stated.

The roommate said to police, "In the interest of speeding this up, he put it over there" and pointed under the desk, reports stated.

The resident said he moved the can because it was the officer who really brought it into the room, reports stated.

The resident told the officer to "get the fuck out of my room" and said he hated police and hoped all the police got killed, reports stated.

The resident said to the officer that he would be nothing "without that badge and that gun in your pocket," and said, "I'd fuck you up if you didn't have that badge," reports stated.

The resident yelled at the officer to arrest him, and the officer placed him in handcuffs, reports stated.

The resident began to cry and promised to calm down if the officer took the handcuffs off him. He told police that he was on deferred eviction for a marijuana charge, reports stated.

Police removed the handcuffs from the resident and escorted him to a patrol car, reports stated.

The resident began to yell and told police to plant a gun on him and to plant crack on him, reports stated.

The resident was placed in handcuffs again, and he then told the officer to "suck my dick, you faggot cop," reports stated.

The student was then given a citation at the patrol car and released.

Someone broke a window on the north side of the Forbes building, 1140 E. South Campus Drive, early Friday morning, reports stated.

A custodian reported hearing the window break and seeing a man running from the scene at 3:03 a.m.

Police found 20 large rocks across the street but were unable to determine if they had been used to break the window, reports stated.

A man wearing a blue hospital gown was arrested for loitering Friday around 2 a.m. at the Manuel T. Pacheco Integrated Learning Center, 1500 E. University Blvd., reports stated.

The man had been warned about loitering prior to the incident, reports stated.

Upon being questioned by the officer, the man produced a pack full of cigarette butts and told the officer he was recycling.

The officer told the man to leave and continued on his round, but when he returned to the area, he heard the man had entered the ILC again, reports stated.

The man was transported to Pima County Jail and booked for loitering, reports stated.
